Programs

Four pathways.
One stronger future.

GROW combines prevention education, academic encouragement, family values, and mentorship into a practical, strengths-based youth development model. Each pathway helps youth build skills, supportive relationships, and a sense of belonging.

Drug Education

Youth receive clear, age appropriate information about alcohol, nicotine, cannabis, opioids, stimulants, counterfeit pills, overdose risk, peer pressure, and the impact substances can have on health, school, relationships, and future goals.

Topics can include

  • Understanding risk and protective factors
  • Peer pressure and refusal skills
  • Healthy coping and help seeking
  • Counterfeit pills and overdose awareness
  • How to talk with a trusted adult

Education Support

Mentors help youth strengthen routines, set goals, identify barriers, build confidence, and connect school effort with future opportunities. Youth are encouraged to identify their own interests and take ownership of meaningful next steps.

Areas of support

  • Study habits and organization
  • Attendance and accountability
  • Goal setting and progress checks
  • Career and college exploration
  • Celebrating effort and growth

Family Values

GROW supports conversations about respect, communication, responsibility, boundaries, trust, and the role families can play in helping youth succeed.

Family focused skills

  • Respectful communication
  • Problem solving and conflict repair
  • Household expectations and responsibility
  • Healthy boundaries
  • Building trust over time

Mentorship

Consistent, positive adults can help youth think through choices, recognize strengths, practice life skills, and stay connected to constructive opportunities. Mentorship also creates room for youth voice, leadership, and positive contribution.

Mentor role

  • Listen without judgment
  • Model respectful communication
  • Encourage healthy goals
  • Maintain clear boundaries
  • Connect youth with appropriate adult support when needed
More Than Information

We help youth practice the next right move.

GROW brings real-world conversation into every pathway. Youth can name a goal, try a skill, learn from the outcome, and return to supportive adults for the next step.

GET INVOLVED
Information becomes useful when young people can apply it in real life.
